I gather you, like me and robsaw, didn't receive eticket confirmation emails with text statements of baggage charges -- so there, the violation by Alaska is in failing to send the baggage charges, rather than stating incorrect charges.
Did Alaska charge you correctly when you actually checked bags?
Honestly, I don't recall seeing baggage allowance in my receipts - I think its like your complaint where its sent as a link. But even today, I looked at a codeshare American/Alaska booking, and it says I have to pay for bags 1 & 2, despite my status stating otherwise.
