'AA Prime' only apparently, which I was told would push that segment to an AA flight number, thus losing the double TP potential.
I'm half tempted to do it still, even if I need to make up that 140TP 'loss' elsewhere 🫠
According to British Airways Trade Support: https://www.britishairways.com/en-us...-card-upgrade;
Both BA*AA ( British Airways marketed, American Airlines operated ) and AA marketed & operated segments are eligible.

American Airlines (AA) operated flights can be upgraded using a Gold Upgrade For Two (GUFT) or Gold Upgrade For One (GUFO) voucher. If the PNR has BA*AA or Prime AA sectors, and the customer would like to use a GUFT or GUFO on the entire journey, this needs to be processed via the Executive Club (similar to the upgrade using Avios process).
