Duly noted and understood before I commented tongue in cheek. That said I agree with pesos about flying time as a significant factor here. As a SYD based traveler most of my flying is ultra-long haul as opposed to long or medium haul. I actively go out of my way to avoid 777 routes when able (we are blessed Qantas never ended up buying the type despite helping to develop the same). I agree it's a great aircraft for operators but plain old technology comfort wise from a pax perspective. My preference for flying goes something like this: A380, A350, (almost equal) B787. After all I'm
paying for maximum comfort when flying not the operators convenience. These days that goes beyond the soft and hard product of the operating carrier but also the aircraft type being flown.
