I checked out for of the stay that took me to my 70th night on the 31/12/22, stay posted a few days ago, nothing showed in the milestone rewards had to have a long and tedious conversation with the rewards assistance peeps but ultimately had to make choices via them on the phone rather than online. I took the lounge pass benefit for my 40th night some time back, I am curious now however if I selected it would that have added 2 years to my current expiry and seen me good to the end of 2025?

If you had taken the lounge pass and you redeemed it this year, it would take you out to end of 2024, so another year, not 2, since at the 40 night, you probably used it in 2022, so that it expires end of 2023. It's current year, plus 1, not a flat 2 years. You seem to stay at IHG a lot, so taking the lounge is worthless cause you'll hit 40/70 again next year anyway, to get another year.
