We have people with low historical spend getting Dec invites, those of us with historically high spends getting Jan 4 invites, etc. I believe that there is NO correlation between when you get the invite and your "worthiness"as a GS. Traditionally December invites have been GS renewals and first time invites were always in January. Not sure how that relates to this year, which appears to be a little different with the January 4-5-6 status changes (not sure they received official invites yet?) and the normal January 13th date.
