BA claims it was weather related and won't compensate according to EU regulations, but all other flights departed on time the entire evening (except a Ryanair flight to Stanstead that was also delayed but at least departure the same night) and I think it is rather that their staff were not allowed to fly as the incoming flight was already late.

May I please ask if anyone knows of a way to proof that no other flights were delayed that evening, and/or are you able to see any arguments I can use to proof my case please?
