This was the problem that got me most upset after SPG merger. Suddenly, when I out wife, son and me into app, the only option was presidential suite. I had to call each hotel directly. Every time they said no worry at all. Kid was 12. Older than that they might charge more unfortunately

In my experience, Chinese hotels are very open to having kids in the room. They don't care and won't charge more for under 12s
