If going for a few days, there's street parking near the 94th street exit. Make a left if coming from the north. Just look at the signs for alternate side of the street parking restrictions. The walk can be 10 - 20 minutes depending on how lucky you get.

I haven't paid for parking at LGA in years. My trips are usually short.
