As I’ve said before in this thread, the reason why I’d sue Singapore Airlines and Budget Air isn’t over their Brevement policy. Prior to the return flight, Singapore airlines changed the departure time of my Bangkok to Singapore flight by 3hours, 45 minutes. By international rules, I am entitled to either change the date of the return or get a refund. It is under those rules that I would sue them.
