The 787-9 has two possible configurations, the original Apex Suite and Sky Suite III. The latter being a dense reverse herring bone configuration that was originally intended for mid haul Asia flights but now gets some US flights as well. I think SFO see both 787-9 versions, 1-2-1 on the seat map when booking means the more sense version.

2-2-2 means Apex Suite on the 787-9 seat map, and they are basically the same as the 77W ones.
