This is still a whopping $400 a night, but it punchy for ES but a decent saving on The Hilton and one gets a decent breakfast.

Has anyone any experience of this place? On the App, I have an option for 'room controls' ?

We had a 5-night stay there just last month, first full week of December. Nice hotel.

1. Studio suite reserved, got upgraded to a high-floor regular 2-room suite overlooking towards the river, Nissan Stadium, and the AT&T ("Batman") Building. Myway benefit was for the snacks, but since they changed our room at checkin, they just told me to grab a few things from their small store area.

2. Large breakfast area, good food selection, made-to-order eggs, waffles, etc. Staff was very helpful and nice. Many seating areas had power sockets available.

3. Evening reception was also very good, same location as breakfast. Very friendly, efficient, and attentive staff, good drink selections. Food included some hot items, not just salty carb snacks. One could use it for a half-decent dinner meal if inclined. Our last night there they had a private event starting at 5:30 so the reception started early and finished at 5:30, we got the chance to listen to the event band warm up with a few songs while we enjoyed our drinks!

4. Only a block from the Hilton, so yes, good location and easy walk to Broadway area. Plenty of scooters around if you don't want to walk back uphill!

5. Yes, the lobby is surprisingly small for such a large hotel. Empty when we checked in, but about 30 min later there were several people waiting in line and filled up the place.

6. Parking is $60/night, valet only. But parking garage at the Music City Center is literally across the street from the hotel entrance, is $35 for a 24-hour period (but no in/out privileges). There are several other (open-air) lots surrounding the hotel for roughly $40-ish per day, most were with payment through an app or at a kiosk, some may have allowed in/out privileges. I preferred the safety/security of the Music City Center garage (and indoors as well).

7. We visited the rooftop pool and bar area, both were nice with great views, did not have a drink or use the pool, though both were open.

8. Hotel was not massively busy, so we didn't have any issues with elevator waits that others have reported.

9. Fun fact, this is the hotel that British Airways uses for crew accommodations, chatted with some of them briefly, they liked the hotel.

Would gladly stay there again. Never used the app for room controls, so can't comment on that.

Our rate was sub-$200 per night, if you're seeing $400 I assume there's some major event going on at that time? Titans game perhaps?
