After the son walked into the lounge I asked if they were selling day passes again and they said "only for members." So all of that to illustrate, the answer appears to be yes. Also, unless staff was incorrect, you can even buy a day pass in advance for people you aren't traveling with.
OK, so here's a dumb question. I'm in SEA maybe 6 times a year when I have enough time to visit the lounges. I am already familiar with all the AS SEA lounges and like many personally prefer the N. Lounge, if convenient, although the revamped C-Lounge is much better than before. Virtually every time I'm at SEA and able to visit the lounges my ticket is credited to my BA EC #, and since I have OWE status with BA, I can get into the AS lounges for free.

All of these lounges have their issues, from the periodic absence of any protein in the food offerings, to overcrowding, to broken dishwashers, etc.

Taken the above $30 figure for a day pass (half the daily rate) which also used to be available on my soon-to-be-gone AS B of A Visa Card, and also the normal day pass rate (which I realize is not available at present) $60, there are other pay options available such as frequenting some of the dining establishments in the terminal. I have never eaten at any of the restaurants in the terminals, to be honest.

Let's say that you were in a situation where you would need to pay to visit an AS lounge, either $30 or $60 -- what would you consider to be as good or better alternatives in the terminals for simply sitting down at a restaurant or food establishment, paying as you go, and using the free airport WiFi? Are there establishments you can pay to use, where you get some personal space and comfort, better food and likely better beverages, where the price you pay is worth it, in comparison to paying to use an AS lounge? Do any of these give discounts that are worth anything, that would tip the scales, if you use Priority Pass?

Thanks,
