If your departure at Narita is in the afternoon and are not planning to pay 150 USD in taxi fees, you should look for hotels closer to Tokyo, Shinagawa, Ueno, and Nippori stations. As in these stations, you can board the Keisei Skyliner or the JR Narita Express service.
Regarding suite upgrades, almost every Marriott in Japan doesn't give suite upgrades to platinum due to the mass amount of platinum in Japan.
