American has had some some good economy redemptions recently
Got BUR-DCA on new years eve for 7.5K. Was a $500 flight. So 6.6 cents /mile
And Got DCA-LAX on Dec 28 for 9k. $500 flight as well. 5.5 cents / mile
Got ALO-DCA next june for 9 k. $350 flight 3.9 cents/mile.
