OP need to share their personality type! Normally, do you reach an airport a) an hour before checkin opens, or b) 15 mins before check in closes? It is futile for a)'s to be advising b)'s and vice-versa. Or c) in the middle - in which case all the advice will probably help you make up your mind where you stand.
