May have been nearly a year since I was on the 283, but it's for some reason one of the most unreliable flights time wise.

If you can change your connecting flight I would definitely, as to get through LAX CBP and customs in 2 hours is cutting it fine at the best of times in my experience, but then I tend to come through at busy times. I endeavour not to have a connection from LAX within 3 1/2 hours to be on the safe side.
