There is a commission - it's just baked into the exchange rates. A 1% markup/discount is about as good as it gets for exchanging cash, but you would avoid the 1% by using a fee-free credit or ATM card.
There is another exchange place a few doors up from this spot with almost the same rates but they add another 3% in commission. This is what I refer to when I state no commission.
