While all rights don't have to be left at the school doors, things the school deems reasonable for the health and safety of that child or for the school-at-large usually get wide latitude in court.
I agree with the
loco part. So then another question: schools, as agents of the government can expel students based on a wide latitude search; but can contraband discovered in one of these warrantless searches be used in a criminal context?
