Small regional airports don't bother me. I flew through Bangor, ME last summer and the single security checkpoint didn't open until like an hour before departure of the single flight that was leaving in the next few hours, so there's really no reason to be there earlier. There were no amenities other than some vending machines but I didn't care because the flight was departing in like 20mins.

The worst airports are large connecting hubs with terrible or outdated designs. CDG is one of my least favorites. Each terminal looks totally different and the way it's laid out is horrible. LHR I also dislike because they only show the gate like an hour before departure. Not sure why they do this especially for flights where the plane has been on the ground for hours.
