Generally would agree with rota's comments in post #84. Grand suite upgrade was nice, but the room didn't feel particularly luxurious, and the layout of the bathroom is weird. There is a motion-activated light in the closet in the bathroom that turns on with the slightest movement anywhere in the bathroom, and turns off five seconds later, with a loud click on and off. Very annoying after a while.

The room uses bright blue touch screens to control lights, curtains, and AC. Some of the AC screens did not turn off at night and were practically blinding in the bedroom, had to cover them up.

Breakfast in Sahha was good but not amazing; service was friendly but just OK. Had just come from several other properties on this trip where after the first day all of the staff knew us and our preferences - though those were luxury properties, so I guess you have to have your expectations set accordingly.

Bovine was used as the club lounge, open all day. Only went for the 6-8pm cocktail hour very good quality food and desserts; OK alcohol selection. Service was very good.

Gym is large and spacious, with various sauna and steam options in the locker room - very good.

Overall I would return with the right expectations. Some above compare this property to the Park Hyatt - I presume the PH is in a totally different league, but it's also 3x as expensive (at least on my dates) and a totally different part of Abu Dhabi. So hard to make an apples to apples comparison.
