Well, 2x EQN would actually incentivize more nights from a lot of people, which presumably is the point of these promos. I have no idea why Hyatt would offer existing elites a free night after only 3 nights. Hard to imagine many Hyatt elites don't stay at least 3 nights per quarter. The points offers, meanwhile, seem to incentivize people to stay
away from Hyatt, which, if true, is bizarre.
