Interestingly, the website didnt show it available during upgrading at website at all, and I presume that was just due to using the 4SH vouchers to do it(she doesnt have 50k pts for J upgrade). That is kind of misleading as you dont know if it is a glitch or true unavailability. I confirmed this glitch checking same on my plat account, where I also have 4 SH vouchers, but the only option was available upgrade with points (sh vouchers option not visible)
Is this normal AY obsolete IT that you need to call in or chat in case wanna use 4sh vouchers for longhaul J upgrade?

Finally after T37h, I went to finnair chat, on behalf of my wife, to ask them to return the vouchers as it had already gone more than 24h what they promise, and tried ”luck” asking if they can still check and process upgrades with only 5hours left to takeoff. Chat agent said, ”oh I see your upgrade had been denied or actually stuck somewhere unprocessed, but actually there is a lot of J seats available I can upgrade you to if you still want”…🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️ Oh well ... thanks for the J, vouchers used happily but hey what the earth is it with your IT?????
