BA only have 12 A380 and I'm sure they pick airports that make most sense.
A380 works best in hub-spoke scenario. Sure Delta have JFK but is it a major hub from Europe?
I also agree with the logistics here. You need to be at a terminal that can handle the A380 (maybe not a problem?) and turn-around times might be increased? Not sure about slot times and costs in NY but might be a factor?
Also BA did make a firm statement that the A380 was not coming back, due to Covid and other reasons. So any uplift in cabin have, I guess not been included the a380 - Thats a shame (Almost every airline are in the same position, excluding Emirates)
