Just a small thing I was pondering. Why doesn't BA fly it's A380 to New York? I'd have thought the traffic on the route would make it a prime choice. Also, it may act as a bit of a USP since no other airlines fly the double-decker on this route. Looking at where BA currently flies this bird, places like DFW seems like an unusual choice! Thoughts welcome!
BA reduced the number of flights they have each day to DFW a while ago - I think it used to be equal numbers of AA and BA flights from LHR to DFW daily, 2 of each.
At that point they started using the A380 rather than 777, so I suppose that's to give as many seats as possible with just the one plane per day.
