I have this conundrum myself soon. Flying BA109 overnight to Dubai with wife and 2yr old son. Head says the right decision is to eat in the lounge and maximise sleep onboard especially as landing at 08:30 and arriving at the hotel well before check in time. But there is something fun about the onboard service; the funny meals, the champagne and films. We’re lucky enough to have flown in premium cabins a fair few times (always for leisure) but never frequent enough for the novelty to wear off.

What would you do - sleep and be spritely for day 1 of holiday or savour and risk being zombie like with a toddler in tow?
