What constitutes a short work is, of course, open to discussion. But the rwo miles or so between the two stations falls outside my definition of shortness 😊

Though on a nice day, without luggage and with plenty of time it's not an unpleasant walk.

Best would be bus, taxi if youre trundling bags. Metro would be clunky, needing either a change or using Terreiro do Paco Metro station (on the walking route to SA).

Taking a taxi into Lisbon from Monte Estoril seems bizarre, unless you are heavily encumbered with bags The train is at least half-hourky, takes around 40 minutes and outside the comuter hours it's comfortable enough.
