The card does give one free night at any Hilton which is a great value if you can use it.
Also MANY can't get the SUB on Amex cards via prior churning and the card also takes one 5/24 slot.
You could match to Wyndham diamond from MANY hotel chains, by far the easiest was IHG that gave you platinum status for getting the credit card, 80K IHG points and back then it was the select card with a $49 AF that also included a free night every year.
I wouldn't say the above ( getting a credit card with a $450 annual fee ) amounts to easy ( giving away like Candy )Diamond status.
I wish I could get top tier with Hyatt or Marriott with a $450 credit card with those kind of benefits. Compared to Marriott and Hyatt and IHG Ambassador, Hilton top tier is very easy to acheive. The $250 resort credit is good at a lot of hotels outside of Vegas. I used mine in Hawaii in March and last year in Miami. I have diamond with Delta and mange to use the $250 airline credit on my hilton card and my $200 annual fee credit on my Platinum card. United it is very easy to use on with the travel bank, but it can still be done on Delta.
Even without the status matching Wyndham diamond is very easy to acheive with a low annual fee credit card.
I'm really surprised Caesars doesn't give diamond status with a certain spend on their credit card but I don't see that happening since they stopped giving the VIP card out or the Platinum status with I believe $15K of cc spend. They must not be in the credit card business.
