Had a call yesterday - opening delayed so my stay at Hyatt Place Asheville Airport in mid May is cancelled
They offered Home2Suites by Hilton as the alternative at the same rate. I don’t know Asheville but based on a quick Google it looked ok so I accepted.
I have received the cancellation email from Hyatt for Hyatt Place but haven’t received anything confirming the Home2Suites booking.
I’ve never had a hotel chain unable to fulfil a booking before - is this normal ?
(Ps this is a paid booking not a points booking)
Just restarting collecting Hyatt points so a bit annoying as I did have 10 nights booked at Hyatt on the trip - now down to 8!
