have options so that you can have a quick nightcap or snack and then go to sleep. Other passengers can choose the full menu if they prefer.
On most of these flights the crew will (used to?) do a quick service anyway so everyone could get a few hours sleep.
You do need your eye mask and earplugs, but then I'd use them on any flight where I wanted to sleep.
On the breakfast score - I'd rather sleep until 20 mins to landing and then get breakfast at the T5 arrivals lounge.
