I would disagree. It can be used to make sure the occupant is ok or if the occupants are legit or not. Just because some places aren't doing it as a regular thing doesn't mean it's not a proper check.
As for cutting back on daily housekeeping, that's a corporate cost cutting decision. It doesn't mean a wellness check is mutually exclusive. Whether they really care or not is a different story.
That's the same phrase the government uses for whenever it wants to take away rights.
So you are saying shady motels check in on the occupants to ensure they are legit? Or are you saying high-end establishments should always barge in on their guests at 4am to ensure they didn't hit their head and are passed out unconscious? Because maybe people who somehow paid $600 a night had the wrong concept of privacy and security?
I guess (this is OMNI territory) then police should always be able to take someone in and arrest them first, ask them questions later. This definitely can improve
everything!
