Just completed a three-night stay at Le Narcisse Blanc. Really excellent. By no means cheap, but totally reasonable for a legit five star experience.
Booked an Executive Room and was upgraded to a Junior Suite. It was actually a true suite, with a separate living room separated from the bedroom by a long hallway. Space was still relatively dear, but quality of the furnishings was very high, including a super comfortable bed and a Nespresso Vertuo machine with perpetually reloaded capsules. Room had an interior courtyard view, and was absolutely dead quiet. Housekeeping (twice daily) was fabulous. Bottle of Billecart Salmon Brut Reserve provided as a welcome gift.
We had dinner at the restaurant (Cleo) - it was one of the two best meals of our entire trip, really fantastic, and very reasonably priced. I preferred it to Divellec, the 1* seafood place around the corner. Breakfast by contrast was rather weak, probably the weakest part of the stay.
Hotel's location in the 7th, near intersection of La Tour Mauborg and Rue St. Dominque, is really super - I much prefer this area to the 1st/8th/16th. Service was excellent - attentive, but not overly formal or pretentious.
Would absolutely return.
