There's some confusion around here.
To 747jetter : this new seat is not going to current B77W in COI config. Those have been already all retrofitted during covid with the same J seat as in the A350. The COI-configured planes have 14 J seats only. The new J seat is going to the sub-fleet of B77W still having the NEV4 seat, but those are not COI.
But, as you said, regarding the brand new J seat with sliding door, there's still no plane flying around with it. Retrofit still on-going, delayed and delayed. OP will have the BEST seat in 1-2-1 as he/she flies on the B772
