My father earned Titanium in 2019, which got extended through 2022. He only earned 27 nights in 2023, so he’ll soft-land to Platinum in March. His years of Platinum or higher went from 8 to 9 a few days ago. He has 800+ nights.

If my understanding of the wiki is correct, he will hit 10 years in January of 2024, correct!|? He’s trying to determine if it’s worth going for 50 nights in 2023, but he’s not sure if the year of earned status posts after the year of earning it, or after the year of enjoying it.
