And on a good day, almost usable!

AA's wifi, except occasionally on regionals, is the fastest I've had, and it's often available gate to gate. I'm now AA EXP, DL Plat, and UA Gold, and the cost, availability, and speed of wifi on DL and UA simply sucks compared to AA's. Plus, AA has a good two-device plan for $59/mo that reliably allows me to use both my phone and my laptop in flight. I would much rather keep all that for the price than see slower but more widely available wifi.
