I am trying to decide between the Executive garden/sea view room with terrace or the Executive Sea view with Terrace for our stay next September. Sea view is only about 25 euros more per night. I am focused on the view, and pictures and other descriptions of the garden/sea view rooms (which overlook a park and Old Nice, as well as side views of the sea) actually look more atmospheric and interesting to me than simply a straight-on view of the sea. But I am a bit concerned that these pictures represent only the best of the possible views from those garden/sea rooms, and that some may have a much more limited sea view. On the other hand, it is hard for me to tell from the on-line pictures whether the sea view rooms have a broad view that would encompass lengthy views of the promenade, the curve of the coast, etc., when standing at the balcony. Does anyone here have experience with the hotel that might help with this choice?
We will be there more for sightseeing than for sun and surf, but expect to sit on the terrace a fair amount for relaxation and views.

The sea view rooms have a full sea view and you have a great view of whole promenade. I stayed on the 7th floorI believe.
So definitely with the 25 EUR. The Executive Garden rooms most likely look to the garden opposite the main entrance (ok but nothing special). Side sea view at best.
Definitely go for sea view rooms. Of course can’t tell which floor you end up but when I was on the 7th it was a great view and I regretted that I did not stay longer (super warm even in November plus plane spotting of arrivals into NCE)
September still peak for Nice so don’t hope for complimentary upgrades to a sea view room
Nota bene: the park is small and I think it includes an entrance into a parking garage. plus there was a big construction that side. If you look to the park you also look at the taxi rank; a street into old town and the main street at the promenade. I am afraid you would be disappointed.
