LX generally does not release inventory for F seats except to Miles&More members.

And, no, the flight isn't likely to be un-cancelled, and if you want to be re-accommodated in F, you're not going to have many options as there aren't many carriers with F in the first place. For a day-of-departure cancellation, rebooking you is LX's responsibility, and you should work with them first.

The best option that I see, if you can leave a little early, is to fly SFO-LAX-ZRH. ExpertFlyer lists LAX-ZRH as being F0, but both ITA and Swiss.com think seats are available. Otherwise, your options in F would be BA or AF.
Saw this article yesterday, did some searching and found some availability for the next day.

Good call on flying through LAX- I woke up and Swiss had rebooked me on that itinerary.
