We had an almost monthlong stay here in December. While this is not quite a 5 star hotel, the staff is really great. My wife had just flown in from the US, so met us at the hotel. We both had to go with our 10 year old to get her US passport renewed at the embassy. They then returned to our house in Bandung to finish her school, so I was mostly on my own for 10 days.

I have a lot of mobility issues, and the staff was happy to deliver food to my bedside. Chef Styven from Open restaurant was always asking what special dishes he could make me. I just wish I could get some pork bacon here, but I should be used to it by now.

Last month I had posted a long review with pictures at their Sea Grain restaurant, but FT was having some problems, and the usual restore text option wasn’t there.

I’ll just post one picture of the very nice Australian Tomahawk we had for our anniversary dinner. Not inexpensive, but it fed the 4 of us very nicely. The Hilton 25% dining discount for Gold/Diamond members helped! They also held some World Cup viewing parties here. I went to one with my 10 year old, but my wife had misunderstood the start time. My wife and daughter did get to watch the final, which was really exciting for them.
