Yes of course, but my point was that the travel agent was incorrect (the OP says in post 1 that these EI flights had NZ flightcodes), and further, that even on the type of standard IATA interlined ticket you mention, there would be no mileage earning for those EI flights in NZ's programme, or in EI's programme if the ticket was plated on NZ stock.
