As someone who (essentially) fits that category (3 biz plats and 3 personal plats or more) and someone who freely admits I have little insight as to what AmEx might consider gaming (beyond irresponsible MS), I’m intensely interested in what others think. Obviously, based on my situation, I don’t consider 3 biz plats and 3 personal plats or more to be “abuse, misuse, or gaming", finagling or “working” the system, but nothing illegal or unethical. AmEx gets their $695 (x 6 or more), I get my SUBs, MR, possible various credits, lounge access and “the privileges of membership”!

I agree completely, for several reasons it would be helpful to more about OP’s specific situation.
