I hope DL already has plans or is preparing for how they’re going to handle mass refunds requests when common issues arise like:

*A passenger orders a snack/food/drink and after their card is charged the Captain asks the FA’s to remain seated for the duration of the flight due to weather and now said passenger has had their credit card charged and not received their purchase

*A passenger orders a specific breakfast/lunch/dinner box, their card is charged, only to have a FA arrive at their seat and be told their choice is no longer available

There’s 100+ reasons I could list that could happen where a passenger gets charged and doesn’t receive their purchase. As mentioned in an earlier post DL’s IT is already a mess and this just will add more headache to that and increase the odds of a passenger leaving their flight with a negative experience.
