We having a Guinness and relaxing.
Like a hotel lobby my partner says though and it is too light.
Access issues apparently all fixed now. GGL permitted on any flight, BA or AA.
Well that's what we've been told by AA. Still waiting on BA.
Did you visit the Chelsea Lounge recently or is this a communication from a customer service or public engagement team of American Airlines.
If you were flying, were you flying on a **solely domestic itinerary** or did you have any same day international connection. This is a crucial part of understanding the situation.
Last time when I was at JFK on a Flagship Business ticket to LAX ( no international connection involved ), I was sent to the Soho Lounge and when I asked to escalate the situation with a BA employee, she told me that GGL access for Chelsea is international only. It was around 1pm so there was only one BA employee on duty since the next BA flight was in more than 5 hours and that BA employee wasn't a supervisor but most likely there to assist connecting passengers.
I don't have any solely domestic AA itineraries involving JFK booked in the near future so wouldn't be able to provide any datapoint in the near future but I hope that your experience and some other FT'ers experience would be good news for the community.
