My wife was platinum in 2021 and 2022. When the additional 10 nights posted for holding the Bonvoy Brilliant Amex card, she also received +1 year for her lifetime platinum elite status. She didn't jump from Gold to Plat due to this, so it was strange at the time, but it made it seem like the back-end saw her as a lifetime gold and gave her the extra year then. Or something else... She did not receive another +1 year this week when most of us did.
