the actual Lp lounge in cdg has a far, far more extensive (and I’d argue more exciting) menu.
Very valid point and I should have clarified! I agree that the actual lounge is much more exciting. I won’t post menus here so as not to further enrage everyone

Thanks to everyone putting these pictures in. It irks me when people say AA took over and the menu failed, or that it's fine. The FFD was honestly incredible, and the CCR still had a decent level.
Anyway, for anyone who is still defending the Chelsea's food options and thinks that we are being critical, it's really not the case, when they presented their initial food menu, it was absolutely a step down to the FFD but none of us complained as it was 'ok'. This temporary menu that has made its way to apparently becoming the full-time menu however is a drastic step down to what was at best an acceptable parallel.
Also, it's been over a month, perhaps they're waiting on a Jan menu and they'll revert to the initial standard they set.. Let's hope. Has anyone been recently or going to make it in? I'm not back until the 20th.
I am also not making it until the 20th. In a perfect world, the “blogger menu” will re-appear in its original form / in some capacity, but I’m not holding my breath.
I’ve provably said this before, but one of my gripes is that they trotted out the food / champagne menus (a step down, as noted, but totally acceptable) for the photo opps, then wiped them out after that. I’d view it differently if they said hey our menu is going to be a bit substandard while we adjust to the new space (we can debate if that’s a valid excuse), but it will improve in short order.
