Ended up taking the seat depicted on the left. It was not a pleasant sleeping experience — I’m average hight, and my feet were pressed up against the left side of the foot compartment while trying to sleep. Not comfortable.

There were other mechanical problems with my seat, people loudly talking and laughing most of the red eye flight, and a baby crying. Would not recommend taking Royal Air Maroc, even with the Etihad sweet spot.

Also, I flew from YUL - CMN. RAM business gives you access to the Mastercard lounge, which had a massive line of priority pass(?) members. Business class pax were NOT given priority over credit card holders — had to wait in virtual line for an hour, and wasn’t able to enter before my flight boarded.

Would prefer air canada business any day.
