They can open up one for one companion IF J>4. And you (the GS) have a PAID Polaris class ticket... If not your companion(s) remain on the list....there have been some agents recently that have also added the requirement that your companion has to be above anyone else on the list. Meaning if there are other GS's on the list in a higher fare class, they didnt open the space. I have spoken to other agents who say the the Paid J execption trumps other GSs (with paid O or Y) regardless. The only guarantee these days is cash dollars. sorry to say.
