flew RAM on Jan. 2, Casablanca to Doha on a business ticket. flight was operated by a 787-9. purchased ticket on QR website, I had a connecting flight from DOH to DFW on QR. all flights were on one PNR.

at check-in, there was some miscommunication regarding the weight of checked baggage. one bag was 27 kgs and they insisted weight limit was 23kgs. the QR booking said we were allowed 2 bags up to 32kgs each. showed them the QR booking that indicated the weight limit shown and they honored it.

the lounge was immediately to the right after passing through passport control. it was pretty packed when we were there. found some seats on the upper level. there was a good variety of food items available - hot, cold, pastries, sweets. didn't get a chance to see what the bar offered. tried the quiche and some cake.

boarding was a bit chaotic. no announcements were made at the gate about boarding and everyone just queued up as soon as the agent opened the doors. we jumped on a bus to the plane. we boarded the plane using the forward stairs. an agent at the stairs questioned us about why we didn't use the business bus to the plane. we told him we had no idea there even was one. it was OK since we were the first people on the plane. we did notice the business busses start to roll up about 10 minutes later. flight departed about 15 minutes after departure time.

crew was very friendly, showed us to our seats and offered juice/water during boarding. there was a pillow on the seat, crew handed out blankets once we were airborne.amenity kits were handed out, all products of Morocco. the menu was pretty good - I had the chicken tagine for dinner and the roast beef toast prior to landing. dinner service started about 30/40 minutes after take off. service took about 2 hours. cabin was about 2/3 full. the crew was pretty attentive throughout the flight offering to refill drinks and water. seat was comfortable - similar to what you'll find on AA biz products. overall a good flight. would definitely consider flying RAM again in the future. some photos below.

one small gripe (and not entirely sure who needs to fix process), upon arrival in DOH, we had to stand in line at the transfer desk to get our QR boarding pass. RAM issued just one boarding pass with both our flights on it at CMN. the process took about 30 mins - only one person working the business line... luckily bags were checked all the way through to DFW at CMN so no need to recollect bags.
