And I don't think my travel experience is all that exceptional. You can find many others who managed to travel with relative ease during the pandemic. We just didn't pay attention to the nonsense on the TV news or social media. And getting tested in NYC was never that difficult. Other US cities YMMV.
But I did have a small issue just yesterday. For my upcoming LYS-CDG-JFK flight, the app pushed out a message saying I needed to add my documentation for travel to the US. So I clicked on the message, and it just brings up the app home page. It doesn't take you to the documentation page. Then I received an email about my documentation, but there also it is without a link to the documentation page. Then I logged into the website and poked around MMB and found the link to add the documentation. My passport is already loaded there, but it was asking me for the nation of residence. For flights to the US I always put in my US address. But in the dropdown list of countries there was no États-Unis, nor USA. I now remember having the same issue on my previous flight to the US. Rather bizarre, but not a big deal as I have to check in bags anyways and can deal with it then.
Nope, tried that too.
The only thing that does works is to switch to KLM but even that doesn't work properly.
And a new one... promo discounts not appearing properly or appearing randomly.
I just booked on Dec 31 CDG-YUL in J for 35k on AF (great deal) but on the promo for December it said valid on KL.
Today looked at a CDG-BOS and CDG-IAD ticket for the entire duration of the promo award -- 1Jan-30Jun and the discount only appears in Y.
They used to clarify which class of service but now no longer make any mention of classes of service.
