There is availability on that route.... If I wait 8 months. If I piece together the routes, there are some sooner, but they are quite poor options, with things like airport changes in Japan. Flying through the middle east seems to have some more flexibility but lining up the dates for the direct flights is tough. If I don't work at diligently I'll be taking 6 flights to get home and 36 hours of travel. Eeepp. From a friends recommendation, I paid the Flystein service to see what they could do. He always praises it for paid flights, but they have a points option as well, for a higher fee. So, for $150, if they can find me a bookable route that doesn't suck, I'll consider that a success, but if they come back with what i've already found, I'd not be pleased. We'll see....
