This could be an interesting corollary to my now-completed travel goal of visiting at least one country for every letter of the alphabet (with the exception of X, since there is no country that starts with X). I finished that one in 2014 with Yemen. I've already done all 50 US states and all seven continents. It's harder to do these crazy things now that I'm married, though. Mr. travelmad478 is OK with the general goal of one new country per year, but I don't know if he'd go for the island thing or anything in that vein.

sethweinstein, did you pick the list of islands in advance, or will you just take anything as long as it fits your alphabetic needs?
