Hopefully this isnt a stupid question but I can't seem to find anything definitive or am I not looking hard enough.

Had to cancel a BA holiday that I had paid for on the Premium BA Amex so got quite a healthy chunk of Avios out of it that have transferred into my BAEC balance. I've cancelled the holiday so waiting for the funds minus the deposit back onto the card. Will the Avios that I earned be pulled from my BAEC account or do they stay? Had refunds on the card before and it never really crossed my mind as hasn't been for a substantial amount of Avios in the past but I'm looking at reward flights for this year and it makes up a not insignificant part of my balance
